Silab has taken the wraps off Liftilience, a film-forming natural active ingredient derived from fully traceable organic chestnuts.
With its optimized tensor effect and adhesion properties, this sixth generation polyvalent tensor it said to offer multiple, rapid and long-lasting cosmetic benefits for the face and body.
As a beauty enhancer, it acts as of the first minutes of application on the face: the skin is significantly smoother and the complexion more luminous and fresher, thus favouring a healthy-glow effect visible throughout the day.
These benefits are perceived by the volunteers themselves, who reported that their skin was smoother, more attractive and more radiant at the end of the day.
A sensation of softness close to that of velvet is also perceived on the body up to four hours after application.
In addition, included in foundation or primer formulas, Liftilience acts as a makeup perfector.
Silab says it significantly increases the holding power of foundation and eyeshadow up to six hours after application, thereby limiting the need for an additional application.
“As demonstrated by its numerous cosmetic benefits, Liftilience offers a powerful tensor effect and an increased adhesion,” said a spokeswoman.
“These properties are conferred by a unique technology, the FHB technology, resulting from Silab’s expertise in biopolymerization,” she added.
“Combining controlled hydrolysis and addition of ionic charges, this technological innovation enables specifically selected native biopolymers to be converted into functionalized helical biopolymers.”
Liftilience is available in preservative-free powder and is recommended in all tensor care products at a dose of 0.16 to 0.64%.
It complies with biodiversity regulations and has a natural origin content of 100% (ISO 16128).
