Sensient Beauty partners with Kolmar Korea on colour cosmetics

French personal care ingredient supplier Sensient Beauty has entered into a strategic partnership with Korean finished product maker Kolmar to target the global colour cosmetics market.

The collaboration aims to accelerate Kolmar’s efforts in the global market by leveraging Sensient Beauty's extensive experience and innovative pigments.

Sensient Beauty will provide Kolmar Korea with new pigments that have not yet been introduced to the market.

Kolmar Korea plans to use these pigments to develop products that align with market trends, catering to the diverse tastes of consumers.

The duo signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), ‘New Pigment and Raw Material Development’ at Kolmar’s technology centre in Seoul.

The signing ceremony was attended by Byung-Seok Moon, Head of Technology Research at Kolmar Holdings (pictured, right) and Marianne Peltier, General Manager of Sensient Beauty Asia (left).

“Through this MOU, we will develop a variety of products that meet the demands of the global market and become a company that leads the latest makeup trends,” Kolmar said in a statement.

“This partnership with Sensient Beauty underscores the importance of innovation and collaboration in maintaining a competitive edge in the dynamic global cosmetics market,” it added.

“The development of new pigments and raw materials involves advanced research and technology, highlighting the complexity and innovation required to create new cosmetic products”.
