The New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC) has revealed the World of Chemistry conference session line-up for the 2024 edition of Suppliers’ Day on 1-2 May.
Moderated by Personal Care Global magazine editor Tim Probert, World of Chemistry will feature seven presentations from leading experts with a global focus on countries and regions that define the beauty landscape.
First up is Kline vice-president of chemicals & materials Sunanda Desai, who will speak about the global personal care market with a presentation titled ‘Was 2023 a bump on the road or does it represent new market reality?’.
Next is Nico Forraz, founder and CEO of French research outfit CTI-Biotech, who will present ‘European-American relations and the importance of global cooperation in cosmetics and personal care’.
The third speaker is Provital’s global beauty trends manager Anna Balaguer of Spain, who will present ‘Inspiration and innovation around the world. Fasten your seat belts!’.
David Chang, managing director and senior consultant of Beijing-based legal regulatory services provider Odyssey Compliance Incorporation, will then speak on ‘The Latest Compliance Analysis and Development Trend of Cosmetic Ingredients Market in China’.
There follows a presentation by Jose Miguel Cabello Escribano, managing director of German personal care ingredient maker MC Actives, who will speak about ‘Phycosphere Biodynamic Technology'.
Next is Lucas Meyer Cosmetics' New York City-based British marketing manager Sophia Bull, who will present ‘Peptides: The Past, Present & Future’.
The final speaker is Lois Lu, general manager at the US division of Chinese personal care ingredient maker Bloomage Biotechnology, who will speak about ‘The Convergence & Divergence Between MoCRA and CSAR’.
World of Chemistry, a staple of NYSCC Suppliers’ Day, takes place at 10:30-13:30 on Thursday 2 May at the Javits Center in Manhattan.
