Seppic expands applications of Fluidifeel Easy emulsifier

Seppic has extended the application of its Fluidifeel Easy emulsifier to thicker formulations to create a wide range of emulsions while retaining natural cold process and sensory properties.

Originally developed for sprayable, fluid to very fluid textures, Fluidifeel Easy (INCI: Lauryl Glucoside (and) Myristyl Glucoside (and) Polyglyceryl-6 Laurate) is a naturally derived emulsifier with a soft and light feel.

Cold processable creamy emulsions with Fluidifeel Easy have been achieved by simplifying the process and adding suitable rheology modifiers: Sepimax Zen (INCI: Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6), Solagum AX alone (INCI: Acacia Senegal Gum (and) Xanthan Gum) or in synergy with Solagum Tara (INCI: Caesalpinia Spinosa Gum).

Seppic says these three chassis offer a neutral and identical sensory experience. A comfortable feeling of emollience can be felt during application, without being too heavy.

“Fluidifeel Easy gives the impression that the skin is almost naked after the application, with no residual film. It leaves a very light and soft afterfeel,” added a spokeswoman.

“The neutral sensory feel of fluid formulas is therefore maintained in creamy textures in multiple applications, such as skin care, sun care, make-up, hair care, hygiene and fragrance.”
