The organiser of in-cosmetics Asia is inviting visitors to the 2023 edition in Bangkok, Thailand on 7-9 November to discover the future of men’s grooming as exhibitors showcase new ingredients.
These include Biogründl, which will unveil its natural facial hair growth retardant, Barber Retard.
This ingredient is based on the combination of three plant extracts: Arnica montana (Arnica), Hypericum perforatum (St. John's wort), and Lamium album (white nettle), which enhance the inhibitory action on the division and growth of hair germ cells.
Meanwhile, Lipotrue will introduce N_llscent, which is designed to eliminate the isovaleric acid smell from feet and armpits.
It will also showcase its Neøclair Pro, an antioxidant amplifier via NRF2/ARES pathway said to offer 360-degree pollution protection.
Elsewhere, Lamberti will exhibit Esaflor PFT, a cationic bio-based derivative of guar gum, specifically developed for clear formulations, offering light conditioning properties, ideal for volumizing and conditioning shampoos while also improving hair brightness.
“As the industry acknowledges that the transformation of the male grooming and skincare market is not merely a trend, more a cultural revolution, suppliers should look to grasp the opportunity with both hands,” said in-cosmetics Asia event director Sarah Gibson.
“Today’s society is far more accepting and encouraging of self-expression and diversity, so we expect the wider personal care market we know today will look very different in the years ahead. We look forward to supporting this change at this year’s show and in the years to come,” she added.
