Colonial Chemical has released SugaDet LSDG, which it describes as “a liquid, easy-to-use blend of a mild, high-foam sulfosuccinate and a mild, high-foam alkylpolyglucoside”.
The sulfosuccinate portion is normally supplied as a semi-solid paste, making the blend particularly useful for formulators incorporating a product that can be tricky to dispense or those interested in reducing the carbon footprint of their manufacturing by designing cold-mix formulations.
SugaDet LSDG is derived from sustainable plant materials and has a very high bio-renewable carbon content. “The combination is optimised to generate copious amounts of foam with dense bubble structure for an extremely luxurious feel,” Colonial said. Applications include sulfate-free cleaners, aerosol foams, pump foaming cleansers and as a syndet bar additive.
