SGS Digicomply, a compliance intelligence platform for the cosmetic, personal care and household care (CPCH) industry, has extended its worldwide reach with new markets now participating in the global network.
Launched by SGS in 2019, the platform combines Artificial Intelligence (AI) with in-house expertise to help CPCH manufacturers, suppliers and retailers keep track of regulatory changes. Interactive and easy-to-navigate, it sorts and classifies huge volumes of the most current, industry-specific global compliance data into a single, reliable source.
SGS Digicomply now includes relevant data from Canada; the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates; and the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) more specifically Indonesia and Malaysia. These markets will add to information already provided for the European Union and more specifically UK, France, Germany, Belgium and Spain; USA, Brazil and China.
Nicola Colombo, global head of SGS Digicomply said: “In this fast-changing and increasingly complex, regulatory landscape, CPCH manufacturers, suppliers and retailers need to be able to access the most up-to-date global legislation quickly and efficiently. That’s why we’re delighted to welcome so many new markets to the Digicomply platform, both now and over the coming months.”
SGS Digicomply provides the CPCH industry with access to:
- Regulatory Guides – to provide a summary of regulatory requirements, validated by SGS experts, by market or by specific topics for immediate access to the legislation and sources necessary to support daily decision making
- Dossiers – to provide fast and easy access to data collections of summarized requirements, specifications and interpretation of regulatory compliance and safety related matters, with added functionality to create and share dossiers for collaborative team working
- Searches and Feeds – to give access to the most up-to-date global regulations from relevant sources, translated from local languages into English, and provide constantly updated content on specific topics via personalized feeds and updates
SGS is now working on Thailand, Turkey, Korea, India and Japan to bring them onto the platform by the end of 2020.
