Jojoba Desert has announced that the company has recently been granted Fair For Life certification.Fair for Life Certification ensures human rights are safeguarded at any stage of production.
Fair trade improves the livelihood of thousands of smallholder farmers and workers by providing the means for social community projects and empowerment of people.
The criteria covered include:
· Respect of human rights and fair working conditions
· Respect for the ecosystem by sustainable agriculture practices and promotion of biodiversity
· Respect and betterment of our impact on local beneficiaries and fair trade partners
Located in Israel’s Negev Desert, Jojoba Desert operates in Kibbutz Hatzerim, where social equity practices are standard practice.
As part of the Fair For Life certification, Jojoba Desert confirms traceability of all certified products, from production to sales.
