North American partnership announced

Univar Personal Care North America and Cargill Beauty embarked on a new partnership to deliver nature-derived, label-friendly and highly functional ingredients to the North America personal care market.

”Consumers are increasingly looking for cosmetic products with more nature-derived solutions and fewer total ingredients. This strategic partnership adds Cargill’s sustainable, label-friendly, nature-derived portfolio to our current offering and enables Univar Solutions to better meet consumers’ needs,” said Kelly Gilroy, business director, Beauty and Personal Care, Univar Solutions USA.

The partnership between Univar Solutions and Cargill Beauty is effective immediately. Cargill Beauty’s diverse portfolio of nature-derived ingredients is composed of texturizers, emollients, emulsifiers, sensory enhancers and active ingredients to develop nature-based products for skin care, hair care, color care and oral care.

Through the partnership, Cargill Beauty products are immediately available to all cosmetic manufacturers in the United States.
