Milan show thrives

Making Cosmetics Milano took place on 21-22 November at the MiCo exhibition centre in Milan and once again built upon the success of previous years to reveal a dynamic and thriving personal care industry in Italy

Sara Valorz, event director of Making Cosmetics, said: “Il Making, as the industry seems to call it now, has become the event to which the Italian cosmetic industry longs to participate with. Making Cosmetics, together with invitality (a dedicated event to the nutraceutical sector), delivers clear, and affordable business achievements.

“I am delighted to play a small role in such a grand industry sector, essential to the wellbeing of all individuals. It is no secret that health and longevity are achieved by combining regular exercise with good personal hygiene and healthy eating. On this note I wish a healthy 2019 to all.”

Thanks to the in-vitality feature, official figures released following the event show the number of unique visitors increased from 2,388 to 2,903 in 2018 (this excludes returned visitors on day 2). The number of exhibitors also grew from 103 to 133 (this excludes sharers), highlighting the momentum Making Cosmetics Milano is developing.

Plans are already underway for the 2019 event, and details will be published inPersonal Careas soon as they are finalised. For more information visit www.making-cosmetics.it
