Hosted by the German Society of Cosmetic Chemists, the 30th IFSCC Congress from 18–21 September, 2018 in Munich, Germany is going to be one of the highlights of the cosmetic science world this year. Some 1500 delegates from all over the world are expected to visit the event.
The four-day congress programme will dig into the latest research of all cosmetic disciplines, bringing together the international elite of cosmetic scientists.
Eight sessions with more than 80 scientific papers together with hundreds of poster presentations and an exhibition with the key suppliers provide a comprehensive insight into the latest developments in cosmetic science.
In addition to this, four workshops supplement the educational value of the congress. The topics of the workshops on 18 September are:
- Optical non-invasive in vivo measurements in cosmetic research
- Skin models in cosmetics
- Preservation of cosmetics
- Development and application of formulations containing caffeine for hair growth and beauty.
The motto of this IFSCC Congress 2018 is: “Science for Beauty and Lifestyle.”
The motto describes the demands of a modern society, which looks for science that connects research and emotion, progress and sustainability, thus creating emotions and results which reflect a youthful lifestyle.
