Debut for sustainable, nature-derived beauty system

In response to growing consumer demand for more natural, ethical products, Cargill Beauty have introduced their newest beauty formulations featuring nature-derived ingredients at this year’s in-cosmetics global.

Cargill Beauty’s System 1.0 for Skincare uses only three key ingredients; the universal texturiser Actigum VSX 20, the innovative lecithin Emultop Velvet IP and the high oleic rapeseed oil Agri-Pure AP-75 R, to offer manufacturers an array of options to meet this consumer demand.
Cargill Beauty conducted propriety consumer research in 2017, which identified six consumer profiles following their preferences for green and ethical cosmetics options. Using these consumer profiles, Cargill Beauty’s applications teams developed six nature-derived beauty concepts, which make up the Cargill Beauty System 1.0 for Skincare.

“At a time when consumers are prioritising transparency and simplicity, Cargill Beauty’s new systems approach enables manufacturers to deliver a customised and affordable beauty portfolio for cosmetic consumers looking for more sustainable, ethical options,”said Tony Jaillot, general manager, Cargill Beauty.
