New concept unifies fine fragrance and cosmetics

Givaudan Active Beauty presented a new product concept at the Hermitage Amsterdam during in-cosmetics Global.

Sensoria is a new sensorial experience which combines fine fragrance, sensorial ingredients and cosmetic actives. The formulation contains Vetivyne, derived from vetiver roots which offers anti-ageing benefits, plumping effect as well as enhancing the fragrance wear. Neurophroline offers anti-stress and anti-pollution benefits; BisaboLife introduces soothing properties, while BlurHD offers anti-ageing and antioxidant benefits.

At the evening presentation, Fabrice Lefevre, innovation and marketing director, said: “Vetivyne is a perfect connection to fine fragrance while giving anti-ageing skin care benefits. The molecule is able to reverse time, but also, and this is a major discovery in our industry, extend the long lasting-ness of fine fragrance on your skin. This is the very first time that such a molecule can be used to enhance the way you wear your fine fragrance.

“Sensoria is a highly technical concept leveraging synergies between high levels of perfume oil, sensory ingredients and cosmetic actives. The result is incredible: it creates a holistic sensorial experience. We’re very proud to inspire our customers with ground breaking innovative concepts.”
