New tests that have been developed to reflect the latest trends include:
- Skin microbiome test: designed for products balancing and promoting the equilibrium of a healthy skin, obtaining information on which and how many microbes are present in a specific skin site.
- Anti-inflammatory test in vivo: evaluates the effect of your products on inflammatory biomarkers on the skin.
- Cutting edge technologies for hair analysis: Optical profilometry, Time-of-Flight Secondary-ion mass spectrometry (ToF-SIMS), X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), and Water Contact Angle (WCA) to assess hair surface roughness and topography, quantify lipids, inorganic elements and other molecules on the surface of hair fibers and to evaluate wettability.
