Right from the start, the company was focused on the development and production of antimicrobial substances, from both a natural and synthetic source.
In their Formulation Lab session at in-cosmetics Global, Cosphatec will introduce R&D professionals to the full potential of its magnolia extract, which has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for more than 2,000 years. One core characteristic of the product is its strong efficiency against the germs that cause acne – Propionibacterium acnes, Propionibacterium granulosum and Staphylococcus epidermalis.
Attendees will be given a deep insight into the scientific background of magnolia extract and the high potential of combining several natural substances within a formulation. The participants will then be tasked with creating a cold emulsifying cream with a wonderful skin feeling and high tolerance for all skin types.
