Making Cosmetics together with Formula Cosmetics was held in Milan on 22-23 November. The vibrant atmosphere in the exhibition and seminar rooms represented an industry ready to move to the next level by celebrating national achievements and demonstrating an ambition for international recognition of the innovation and diversity that Italy offers.
With 1,970 unique onsite visitors, this fourth edition of Making Cosmetics and Formula Cosmetics delivered a record on-site attendance – as well as the highest number of advance registrations.
The change of venue to the central and prestigious MiCo was well received by exhibitors and visitors alike. Ninety-eight stand-holding companies with nearly two hundred represented companies were present to showcase their latest developments in formulation, innovation, technology, testing, analysing and packaging. This profile produced a diverse arena for discussion and an exchange of ideas, information and answers to technical challenges.
The format of the exhibition also provided an opportunity for exhibitors to share their knowledge and expertise throughout a number of activities: TechFocus (technical in depth oral presentations), Live Lab (a live laboratory showing and explaining the manufacturing process of an emulsion) as well as ample opportunity to present new and innovative developments from the stands
