For many years, Spain has been considered a centre of excellence in the design, manufacture and supply of cosmetics.
The outlook remains excellent and Spain is dedicated to maintaining its position as a major player in the world of creativity, design, development and marketing areas. And although there are cosmetic events in other locations, there has until now been nothing devoted to Spain.
The Mediterranean area has the largest concentration of cosmetics companies in the country and so Barcelona is a very fitting place for the organisation of an event which will bring together people from the various sectors involved in the creation and production of cosmetic products.
Last November the new congress for the Spanish cosmetics market was presented in the SEQC offices. This convention is the brainchild of SEQC and is co-organised with Step Exhibitions. On the same day a contract was signed between the two organisations with one key objective: to give Spain a unique event for the creation of cosmetics. This type of event already exists in neighbouring countries with important cosmetics markets, for example France, UK, Italy, Germany and Poland.
