The organisers of the annual in-cosmetics Korea event have reported a huge increase in visitor pre-registration ahead of the 2016 show.
With over two weeks to go until the 2016 event opens its doors, 43% more people have already registered their intention to attend in Seoul from 6-7 July, where the organisers are expecting 4,000 visitors.
Also, 40% more international visitors have registered for the 2016 event, including 76% and 15 per cent more cosmetics professionals based in China and Japan respectively.
In only its second year, in-cosmetics Korea has attracted the attention of representatives from some of the world’s most prominent cosmetic manufacturers, highlighting its importance to the global industry.
Among those signed up to attend are the R&D Directors from L’Oréal USA, South-Korea based Coreana and Cosmax (China branch), Johnson & Johnson’s Director in China as well as the Purchasing Director from Shanghai Jahwa – China’s largest cosmetic manufacturer.
Korea continues to be a hotbed of innovation in the cosmetic industry and one of the main attractions of in-cosmetics Korea will be its free-to-attend education programme that will highlight some of the industry’s most pertinent issues.
A series of seminars, grouped under three themes: Science and Technology, Technical Innovation and Marketing Trends and Regulations, will enable visitors to learn about some of the industry’s hottest topics, including pollution protection, preservatives and halal certification.
Alongside the educational opportunities, more than 200 companies, 60% of which are based outside Korea, will showcase their latest innovations. Manufacturers will be able to source new ingredients from 200-plus exhibitors including AkzoNobel, Clariant, Croda and Dow Chemical.
