At in-cosmetics Asia 2015 Mibelle Biochemistry launched Vin-upLift, a new active that instantly lifts the skin and reduces wrinkles.
This natural ingredient is based on Swiss ice wine, a rare and very exclusive type of wine, which is made of naturally frozen grapes. For wine makers it is a risky procedure, as only the most healthy grapes will stay fresh until the temperatures drop below zero. Ice wine is characterised by a pleasant sweetness, a unique molecular composition and a much higher concentration of polyphenols.
In order to obtain Vin-upLift, Swiss ice wine is spray-dried onto a carrier polysaccharide from Caesalpinia spinosa (tara gum). In this way, the ice wine actives are fused to the water-binding skeleton of this polysaccharide. Thanks to this in-house process, all of the alcohol is removed which means that Vin-upLift – the resulting active ingredient is alcohol-free.
Clinical studies have shown that Vin-upLift instantly smoothed the wrinkles of the crow’s feet – significantly and visibly. Also, Vin-upLift moisturises the skin all day long and on a long-term basis.
