Supported by Greentech, the association for the promotion of studies and research on skin physiology will become a Foundation.
This Foundation, called SPIM, organises an international scientific congress every two years, the Skin Physiology International Meeting. With a growing profile and nearly 150 participants at the last edition in November 2014, the SPIM offers 21 presentations over 2 days, and enables exchanges with researchers and professionals from over 10 nationalities.
In addition the SPIM has internationalised its Junior Scientist award delivered every 2 years. Until now the prize of €15,000 was reserved for French-speaking students, but now the prize is open to PhD students or postdocs from all countries. The Scientific Committee of SPIM will invite 9 students following an application process and the SPIM Junior Scientist prize will be awarded to the best presentation. Registration and more information is available at: www.skin-meeting.com and contact@spim.fr
