Dow Corning won first prize in the SEPAWA Innovation Award 2014 competition at the SEPAWA Congress in Fulda, Germany, for its ES-5600 Silicone Glycerol Emulsifier.
A panel of seven members of the SEPAWA Scientific Advisory Board selected the industry-leading water-in-oil emulsifier, which enables formulators to achieve exceptional performance in polyethylene glycol (PEG)-free systems. The awards ceremony was held at the Esperanto Hotel on Oct. 16. Cindy Delvallé and Kathelyne Everaere, from Dow Corning’s Beauty and Personal Care application engineering and technical service group accepted the award on the company’s behalf.
