Honeywell has named Heidi Lebel as global business manager and Alice Tenny as technology manager for Honeywell’s Asensa personal care business.
Lebel will manage the global distribution network for Honeywell Asensa products, with overall responsibility for the sales and innovation pipeline. She will work closely with Tenny, who will manage all aspects of research and development, including new product development, for the business.
Lebel has more than 20 years of commercial experience and most recently served as global sales and marketing manager for AkzoNobel’s global personal care business, with responsibility for the bioactives market strategy in the global personal care industry following the company’s acquisition of Integrated Botanical Technologies.
Lebel joined AkzoNobel in 2000 as global marketing manager for the global cleansing and conditioning sector, and previously held positions at Gallard-Schlesinger Industries and Lipo Chemicals. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Loyola University Chicago.
Tenny most recently served as technical director for Biosil Technologies. Through her career, Tenny has held technical positions at several companies prominent in the personal care industry, including Sumitomo, Symrise, Lipo Chemicals, BASF Corp. and Estée Lauder. Tenny began her career as a research chemist with L’Oréal in 1985. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in Chemistry and Cosmetic Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
