DNA protected and cells rejuvenated

UV exposure, pollutants or oxidative agents all are factors leading to accumulation of damage in our cells over the years and can downregulate genes in charge of cell longevity.

For the skin the result is a loss of its functionality and properties, leading to wrinkles, sagginess and pigmented spots.  Juvefoxo peptide mimics the activity of FOXO3a, subfamily of the Forkhead box (FOX) transcriptional factors which is involved in cell repair, renewal and longevity. Juvefoxo peptide has proven efficacy in retarding cellular senescence: Primary human dermal fibroblast from a donor aged 55 recovered in vitro the characteristics of cells over 10 years younger. The reduction of senescent cells was statistically significant with Juvefoxo peptide, up to 64.5% higher compared to the same non-treated cells.

The peptide’s DNA-repair properties have been tested both in vitro and in vivo. In the latter case and after 24h irradiation, the reduction of UV-induced DNA damage was 16.6% greater in irradiated cells treated with 2% Juvefoxo peptide solution: than in non-treated cells and 4.3 times greater compared to irradiated cells with placebo. Forearm skin biopsies taken from volunteers show less DNA alterations - analyzed by presence of pγrimidine dimmers (red spots) in cell nuclei- when the peptide was applied.

By enhancing the natural mechanisms to diminish the accumulation of DNA damage, this novel peptide has proven its capacity to delay cellular senescence and self-correct DNA errors induced by daily damaging agents, such as UV light or pollutants.  All this confirms Juvefoxo peptide as a key ally in advanced anti-aging formulations claiming cellular protection, longevity and vitality, contributing to maintaining the skin younger for longer.

Skin firmness is clearly reinforced through Upletivy peptide. An elastic skin can better counteract the effects that intrinsic, mechanical and extrinsic factors have over the years, such as sagginess, lines and wrinkles, among others. The new peptide acts in several directions and key components to improve quality of skin: it enhances the expression of proteins key to the assembly of functional elastin (fibulin 5 and lysyl oxidase-like 1) while improves dermal cohesion, through upregulating the gene expression of focal adhesions proteins, such as talin and zyxin, as well as integrins. Moreover, Upletivy peptide induces the synthesis of elastin and collagen I, which deteriorates with aging. Its ability in improving skin firmness and cohesion of dermal structure was statistically significant in vivo on mature women with saggy skin after treatment with a cream containing 2% Upletivy peptide solution.

The anti-wrinkle solution at in-cosmetics Asia comes from Seacode marine ingredient:  lipstick lines were visible reduced after just 1 week of treatment. It has been obtained through biotechnology and enhances the synthesis of essential dermal proteins, such as collagen I, contributing to ameliorating skin structural properties, whose deterioration over the time leads to visible aging signs.

The anti-wrinkle evaluation showed in vivo a statistically significant reduction of the skin roughness above the upper lip by 16.5% and 25.1% after 1 and 4 weeks respectively of applying a cream containing 2% Seacode marine ingredient.
