Fenchem is launching a new active formula, A-132, for the treatment of acne-prone skin. The product will be officially launched at the up-coming in-cosmetics Asia in Bangkok.
The active ingredients in this formula are four Chinese traditional herbs – Taraxacum Officinale (dandelion) Extract, Glycyrrhiza Uralensis (licorice) Root Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract and Lonicera Japonica (honeysuckle) Flower Extract. These herbal extracts have been proven to have activity on inhibiting 5-reductase, reducing the secretion of sebum, inhibiting the Propionibacterium acnes and repairing the acne wound. The clinical study indicates that A-132 has a good effect on the treatment of acne. In a test on 28 volunteers over four weeks, 85% of volunteers saw acne skin repaired. This herbal formula A-132 is natural, safe and effective with no allergen reaction and no side-effects. It can be mixed with other ingredients for the final product such as essence, serum or gel.
