This year’s Personal Care Ingredients Asia Exhibition and Conference was staged at COEX in Seoul, Korea, in March – being the tenth event in the PCIA series, it was a landmark occasion. PCIA has established itself as the premier event in the Asia Pacific region for showcasing raw materials and ingredients for personal care products.
This year, the established reputation of PCIA ensured that the international attendance increased by more than 10% on the 2001 event – the last time that PCIA took place in Korea.
New ingredients are constantly being launched and alternative uses of existing ingredients are developed. Formulators, marketing professionals and business executives working in the personal care market must therefore be aware of many aspects relating to the supply of ingredients, their use and international regulations.
