ISP Personal Care announced major new product launches at in-cosmetics 2011 and set the stage for a technology alliance that promises to deliver new product breakthroughs to the personal care industry.
Introducing Natriance Biofractions for anti-ageing skin care formulations, the company, through the work of its skin care R&D team, moved ever-closer to the biological markers and proteins associated with ageing and environmental damage. Introducing Survixyl IS peptide, a breakthrough technology for preserving the niche environment that is key to maintaining a healthy population of stem cells, ISP improved the ability of skin care formulators to address stem cell self-renewal. And with the introduction of Styleze XT3 polymer for lasting control and manageability, a heatactivated ingredient that helps knock out “frizz” while adding shine and manageability, ISP extended these consumer-desirable benefits through multiple wash cycles. With the launch of AquaStyle 300 AF polymer for hair gel, ISP extended the benefits of super hold, humidity resistance and shine to water-based, low-VOC styling formulations. ISP also announced a technology alliance with flavour and fragrance maker, Takasago, to better support new innovations in consumer dental products and to enable the use of new functional technologies.
