Earlier this month, master perfumer, Jean Claude Delville, joined drom’s creative team in New York City.
Dr Ferdinand Storp, general manager of the German-based fragrance house commented: “We are extremely excited to have him on board. Jean Claude’s extraordinary skills and expertise make him one of the world’s best perfumers, and a great addition to our team of perfume fanatics!”
Mr Delville, originally from France, has created a wide range of fragrances for major beauty marketers around the world throughout his career, including Cabotine (Gres), Vera Wang (Coty), Organza Indecent (LVMH/Givenchy), Parfum d’Eté (LVMH/Kenzo), Very Sexy for Him (Victoria’s Secret), Can Can by Paris Hilton (Parlux), Goddess by Kimora Lee Simons (Coty), Happi (Clinique/Estee Lauder) and Curve (Liz Claiborne). He previously worked for Firmenich, IFF and Symrise and designed fragrances in Paris, Tokyo and New York City before joining drom.
Mr Delville will be working in drom’s revamped Tribeca studio on the development of fragrances for a variety of applications, with a focus on fine fragrance and personal care.
