Lipotec has launched Vilastene, a product which provides higher resiliency to the skin helping the obtaining of a younger and healthier appearance.
Changes in the skin are easily detectable through the appearance of wrinkles and loss of elasticity. This new product is designed to slow down skin ageing through inhibition of glycation of structural proteins such as collagen and vimentin. Vilastene protects the native collagen from glycation. Due to the excellent efficacy results obtained for the inhibition of glycation of collagen, it is expected that Vilastene also inhibits vimentin glycation.
