The organiser of next month’s Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients (PCHi) trade show in Guangzhou, China has revealed the line-up for the International Ingredient Technology conference track partnered by Personal Care Global magazine.
Top-line representatives from Evonik, Lucas Meyer Cosmetics, Provital, Amorepacific and Gattefossé will speak on 19 February at the China Import and Export Fair Complex Guangzhou.
First up, at 13:30, is Yongjin Kim, team leader of Amorepacific China’s product research lab, who will speak on ‘The evolution of traditional cosmetics ingredient: where camellia meet science’.
Next, at 14:00, is Provital president Ricard Armengol with ‘Endophytes: the magician of the plant symbiosis’.
At 14:30, Lucas Meyer Cosmetics by Clariant global R&D director Mathilde Frechet will speak on ‘Emotional cosmetics: exploring the skin-brain connection for holistic wellbeing’.
Then, at 15:00, Evonik’s global product development manager Dr. Christian Bellacanzone will present ‘The Art of Delivery Systems in Cosmetics: To Deliver or Not to Deliver?’.
The fifth speaker is Gattefossé’s actives marketing leader Laurie Canel, who will present ‘From plants to proof: How does plant chemistry support powerful claims?’ at 15:30.
There will follow, at 16:00, a panel discussion moderated by Personal Care Global magazine editor Tim Probert.
