The company’s manufacturing partner ensures proper permission from the Mexican government has been obtained.
“Our Organic Virgin Prickly Pear Seed Oil is an exquisitely light oil that absorbs quickly, leaving skin looking youthful and feeling velvety soft,” said Anáil Moon Devī, CEO of Praan Naturals.
“The recent test results confirm that it is rich in sterols and tocopherols, making it especially beneficial for formulations targeting fragile, dry, or maturing skin. Its light texture also makes it ideal for delicate facial applications,” she added.
Native to Mexico, Opuntia ficus indica is a nopal cactus with colorful, edible fruits that house highly nutritious seeds.
In many cultures, the fruit, seeds and nopals (pads) are consumed for their medicinal benefits and as a nutritious, seasonal treat.
