The Innovation Zone at next week’s in-cosmetics Asia trade show in Bangkok will feature a record 100 new or recently launched cosmetic and personal care ingredients.
Sponsored by Mibelle Biochemistry, the Innovation Zone highlights the latest functional and active ingredients introduced within the last eight months.
Last year, the event featured 85 ingredients in the Zone. This year, it marks a significant milestone with 100 entries from leading ingredient suppliers and manufacturers.
For example, Sensient Beauty, a supplier of pigments, dyes, active ingredients, and protectors for colour and fragrance, will showcase Natpure Xco Sapphire GB606, Natpure Xfine Bloom SP320 and Covabsorb Nature GP, a 100% naturally derived UV absorber, designed to protect colour and fragrance.
Meanwhile, Nanovex Biotech, a specialised liposomes and nanoparticles company, will present Vegan FDS FolliXield, a treatment which stems from research into hair loss, focusing on novel ingredients like Acetyl tetrapeptide-3 (AT3P) and red clover extract, which works to strengthen hair roots and enhance scalp health.
Elsewhere, Seiwa Kasei will also introduce Vistanol GDHR-Pure, a 100% plant-derived alternative to lanolin and dimethicone.
The ingredient is said to have excellent handling properties, including no odour, minimal colour change, and outstanding oxidation stability, making it easy to store. With no additives or preservatives, this botanical oil aligns with the growing demand for natural ingredients and safety in cosmetics.
