Swiss speciality chemicals maker Omya has appointed Harke as its exclusive distributor of its personal care ingredients in the UK and Ireland.
Manchester-based Harke UK & Ireland, part of Germany’s Harke Group, will offer the full Omya portfolio of personal and oral care ingredients to its customers from 3 November.
Omya’s natural calcium carbonates are said to enhance cleaning efficacy and texture in oral care formulations, helping manufacturers meet the growing demand for safe, natural, and effective oral care products.
In addition, their minerals provide new sensorial experiences while offering easy processing in all dosage forms.
In the personal care sector, Omya's sustainable minerals improve product stability, texture, and shelf-life, aligning with the industry's shift toward eco-conscious beauty solutions.
