Dutch speciality chemical distributor Caldic has named Darren Gilbert as its commercial director of personal care for North America.
Gilbert will formulate and implement the business strategy for Caldic’s Personal Care business unit, including establishing product lines, interacting with vendors, building a sales team and guiding the team to establish a personal care applications lab in North America.
Gilbert has been involved with specialty chemicals for 40 years and with the home and personal care industry for more than 30 years.
His prior experiences include distributor management, new business development, product development and sales management.
Gilbert's previous role was director of Americas business development at Covvalent.
