Biosyntia study shows ceramide boosting effects of natural biotin

A clinical study by Biosyntia has revealed the ceramide boosting and skin brightening properties of its natural biotin ingredient EraGlow Beautin.

The Danish manufacturer says the boost of endogen ceramides in the epidermis was shown in vivo in just one month, ensuring skin deep water content increase and skin reinforcement.

After 28 days of treatment with liposomal natural biotin, an average 30% increase in ceramides and fatty acids at the outermost layer of the stratum corneum was observed.

In addition to this, a 14.5% increase in skin gloss parameters were recorded, which coupled with a 3% reduction in brown spot area shows the skin brightening potential of liposomal biotin.

In vitro, the liposomal natural biotin has demonstrated strong antioxidant effects with up to 45% ROS reduction.

EraGlow Beautin by Biosyntia,  is a vectorised natural biotin (aka vitamin B7) obtained by fermentation.

Biosyntia uses a proprietary sustainable GMP fermentation process of plant carbohydrates sourced in Europe that drastically removes the use of petrochemicals, while reducing CO2 emissions as well as energy and water consumption, to produce their Bio-B7 biotin, the world’s first high purity, natural biotin.

Biotin is an indispensable cofactor in the synthesis of essential lipids and fatty acids as well as exerting significant benefits on elasticity, radiance and brown spots.

EraGlow Beautin is applicable for anti-ageing, brightening and protection beauty products, and is compliant with Chinese regulations. Its ISO16128 natural origin index is 1.
