DSM-Firmenich opens door to ‘House of Science’ beauty rebrand

DSM-Firmenich has rebranded its personal care business as ‘Beauty & Care: A House of Science beyond Wellbeing’ to reflect consumer demand for products that deliver more than just aesthetic benefits.

Beauty & Care is built upon five pillars: wellbeing, holistic beauty, science, sustainability, and emotional connection.

“Our new home Beauty & Care, not only addresses the rising demand for experiences that merge health, wellbeing, and beauty, but also underlines the company's capacity to help the industry develop scientifically-proven solutions that positively impact people's lives while respecting the planet for generations to come,” the company said in a statement.

Diana Duque-Zonneveld, head of global marketing communications, Beauty & Care at DSM-Firmenich, added: “We recognize that our role as a leading player in the industry, is to promote a mindset shift that prioritizes the development of solutions that truly promote the physical and emotional wellbeing of consumers.

The rebrand also reflects DSM-Firmenich’s changing portfolio, which includes advanced UV filters, award-winning skin bioactives, in-demand beauty vitamins, and hair and scalp care solutions.

“Beauty & Care recognizes the importance of blending science, technology, research, and expert craftsmanship, to offer consumers solutions that transcend wellbeing, uniting delight & care, becoming the ideal innovation partner for customers worldwide,” it added.
