Siltech will present multiple new personal care formulations featuring speciality silicones at in-cosmetics Global this month in Paris.
The formulations include Double Up (sunscreen foundation); Lustrous Founding (foundation); Tinge of Tint (lip and cheek tint); I Think I’ll Stay (transfer-resistant liquid lipstick); Quench & Drench (moisturizing gel); Sensationally Sudsy (shampoo bar) and Remove & Soothe (makeup remover).
The benefits unveiled through these formulations result from multiple Siltech ingredients, including Silmer UR-5050, a silicone-urethane resin that provides stay-in-place properties, imparts water-repellency and adds softness.
Also featured is Silwax Sustain 5116, an improved sustainability liquid alkyl dimethicone that provides excellent spreadability, emollience and pleasing sensorial in personal care.
Silwax Sustain 5116 differs from traditional Cetyl Dimethicones as the alkyl component is derived from biobased plant sources, rather than petroleum feedstocks, assuring formulators of both functionality and improved sustainability.
Meanwhile, Siltech’s Quaternium-80 clear cationic liquid agent Silquat Di-30-F4D offers conditioning for hair and skin.
Siltech will be exhibiting at in-cosmetics Global on 16-18 April at stand 1X35.
