The EXTRAMEL range developed by Bionov and marketed by SEPPIC, has been awarded the 2008 European Anti-Stress Promising Ingredient of the Year title by Frost & Sullivan.
EXTRAMEL C, the cosmetic active ingredient, features the ability to entrap excess free radicals and provides photo protection for the skin against premature ageing. This antioxidant cocktail has a known superoxide dismutase (SOD) content of 6000 IU SOD/g in a stabilised form and has proven efficacy at 0.1% use level in anti-ageing applications .
