Roelmi HPC shines light on SelectSieve Glitter nutricosmetic

Roelmi HPC has launched SelectSieve Glitter, a nutricosmetic skincare ingredient containing a natural complex of polyphenols made from olive byproducts and liquorice root.

The Italian outfit says SelectSieve Glitter is an ideal ingredient for dietary supplements dedicated to skin wellbeing or as a support for daily anti-ageing beauty routines.

A clinical study, performed on 60 volunteers aged 25-65 years, found the ingredient is useful in the treatment of skin hyperpigmentation.

The  study showed SelectSieve Glitter is able to reduce skin dark spots in terms of size and colour intensity, thus giving the skin a more radiant and youthful appearance.

Through the inhibitory action of tyrosinase activity, it contributes in reducing melanogenesis giving at the same time a support to the response to oxidative stress of the skin.

Composed of a synergy based on a pool of extracts of olive by-products (Olea europaea L. Var. Coratina) and liquorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.), the ingredient is the result of Roelmi HPC’s commitment in promoting an ethical and responsible approach.

“It represents the perfect example of circular economy integrated with the valorization of local crops,” said a spokeswoman.
