Sabinsa has opened an office in Montpon-Ménéstérol in southwest France and appointed Nathalie Allaume as sales manager.
Allaume is responsible for sales in France and adjoining French-speaking countries.
Her previous positions includes nearly 20 years as sales and marketing director for marine ingredients supplier, Abyss Ingredients, as well as four years with Sirio Europe.
“Ms. Allaume will contribute to building Sabinsa’s brand visibility, enhancing customer trust and stimulating further growth in this promising region,” said a Sabinsa statement.
“She will be responsible for fostering relationships with all stakeholders in the nutraceutical, cosmeceutical and fragrance markets, as well as developing business for Sabinsa’s innovative and scientifically supported concepts and products."
France is a major focus of Sabinsa’s business development efforts, added Umar Jan, president of Sabinsa European operations.
The company’s other European offices include Germany, Poland, UK, Spain and Hungary.
