Lindberg & Lund to change name to Biesterfeld Norge

Norwegian speciality chemical distributor Lindberg & Lund will change its name to Biesterfeld Norge from 1 September.

The Oslo outfit has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Biesterfeld Spezialchemie since 2019.

Lindberg & Lund has a long tradition in chemical distribution and has grown continuously since its foundation in 1984.

“The name change has no practical consequences for existing partners. Biesterfeld Norge, Biesterfeld Sweden and Biesterfeld Finland will remain leading suppliers of well-known brands within technical chemical products in its markets,” said Peter Wilkes, executive board member of Biesterfeld Group and spokesman for Biesterfeld Spezialchemie.

“We will now highlight the affiliation to the international Biesterfeld Group and the access to new expertise and further product areas even more clearly,” he added.

“With Bjørn-Erik Dahlmann for Norway, Magnus Lagerqvist for Sweden and Jens Lindahl for Finland we have great managing directors in responsibility”.
