Vytrus Biotech forges K-beauty alliance with Cosmecca Korea

​Spanish cosmetic active maker Vytrus Biotech has entered into an agreement with K-beauty manufacturer Cosmecca Korea to collaborate for future projects.

The MOU (memorandum of understanding) will combine the plant stem cell biotechnology platform of Vytrus Biotech with the skincare R&D expertise and manufacturing of Cosmecca Korea.

Cosmecca Korea is a leading ODM company in Korea, established in 1999 as an expert in R&D and manufacturing of skincare products, leading trends by reflecting consumer needs and collaborating with global client companies.

The company is listed on the Korean stock market (KOSDAQ) and is present with its own facilities in South Korea, China and USA.

The MOU was signed at Vytrus Biotech’s facilities near Barcelona by sales director Daniel Robustillo (pictured, left) and Cosmecca Korea’s head of technology Cho Hyun-hyun (pictured, right).

“Coming to an agreement with Cosmecca Korea is an opportunity for Vytrus Biotech to bring to the Korean market the best of European technology innovation in the cosmetic industry while integrating the outstanding and trending K-Beauty perspective of Cosmecca Korea into our future developments,” said Robustillo.
