CPL Aromas has acquired Global Fragrances Labs (GFL) of Spain and their entire operations in El Prat de Llobregat, Barcelona.
GPL, founded in 2010 by Nelly Di Mercurio López, creates and manufactures scents for the perfumery, home care, personal care and air freshener sectors.
The British firm said it will combine GFL’s operations with CPL Aromas Spain to create one division to solidifying CPL’s position in the industry and expanding its capabilities in Spain to better serve its customers.
“GFL are a complimentary business to our own in Spain, we share similar visions for the future of fragrance and our values align,” added CPL Aromas chief operating officer Nick Pickthall.
“GFL have a strong reputation for quality and customer service, and combined with CPL’s strengths it will offer our domestic customers in Spain a comprehensive experience.”
CPL Aromas will welcome and retain all 19 existing employees from GFL, as well as the current premises, that will be run under the CPL Aromas Spain division.
