French cosmetic active producer Silab has unveiled details about its presentations at the 25th World Congress of Dermatology in Singapore on 3-8 July.
The company will make three oral presentations as well as one poster presentation at the event, which takes place at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.
On 4 July at 08:20, Silab scientific support manager David Boudier will share the results of research into human skin commensal, Cutibacterium acnes, which can induce epidermal lipid synthesis.
David Boudier will present a second oral communication, about the mechanism of immunoevasive senescence - an insidious strategy involved in skin ageing - on 4 July at 14:30.
On 7 July at 15:30, Julien Seneschal of the University of Bordeaux will present its research work conducted in partnership with Silab about the investigation of the role of resident memory T cells in normal appearing skin of vitiligo.
The poster presentation meanwhile is entitled ‘Skin vascularization: development of a new 3D model responding to subtle angiogenic modulations’.
The results were obtained in partnership with the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Biology (CIRB), College de France, CNRS, INSERM and the IGFL, CNRS, Lyon University.
The poster is part of a selection of 100 posters among the 3,400 submissions for their outstanding scientific and educational value. It will be showcased in the Smorgasbord session from 14:30 to 15:30.
