Jojoba Desert names Roni Rot as chief executive

Jojoba oil producer Jojoba Desert has appointed Roni Rot as its new chief executive, effective immediately.

Rot was a board member of the company since its establishment and has a deep understanding of Jojoba Desert's activity, long term strategy and of the global cosmetics market.

He is said to bring a wealth of commercial, agricultural, and sustainability experience to the position.

Rot succeeds Ms. Lee Reuveni, who had led the Israeli outfit for the past six years.

“As CEO, Reuveni had successfully implemented a long-term strategy of growth, forming Jojoba Desert as a specialty ingredient company, with a high standard research system that offers a diverse range of high-quality products and a strong global structure to ensure fast and stable supply year-round,” a spokeswoman said.

“Today, Jojoba Desert holds more than ten globally recognized certifications that demonstrate its commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, sustainability, and industry best practices,” she added.
