German clean active producer MC Actives has entered into a global strategic partnership with Spanish blue biotech outfit Microalgae Solutions.
MC Actives has become the exclusive worldwide brand owner of Phycoskin actives based on phytoplankton holobionts developed by Microalgae Solutions.
Microalgae Solutions’ patented Phycosphere Biodynamic Technology (PBT) allows the cultivation and extraction of phytoplankton holobiont in a sustainable way.
As a part of the global strategy of MC Actives to increase its portfolio of natural, sustainable and clean ingredients, a worldwide exclusivity of the Phycoskin brand has been achieved from Microalgae Solutions.
“This agreement enforces the presence of Phycoskin actives across the globe and the capability of Microalgae Solutions to develop new actives includes Microalgae Solutions’ stock acquisition by MC Actives,” said a Microalgae Solutions spokesman.
