US cosmetic actives producer Active Concepts has unveiled On-The-Glow, a kit of product prototypes designed to achieve a healthy and glowy complexion.
The products in the kit's six-step regimen for skin and hair include a dry shampoo, a clarifying tonic, a glass skin veil, a radiant moisturizer, a BB cream, and a highlighter.
“A significant change is taking place in the cosmetics sector. Consumers are now more concerned with making their skin appear as clear and glowing as a donut than they were in the past with concealing up their imperfections,” said an Active Concepts spokeswoman.
“This new trend, which some people have termed ‘donut-glazed skin’, ‘dewy skin’ or ‘glowy skin’ is propelling the creation of new products and businesses that promise to give customers a more youthful appearance,” she added.
