Dow has entered into an exclusive engagement with EcoSynthetix to bring bio-based, biodegradable and low-carbon solutions to the personal care industry.
The arrangement initially targets the hair styling market, including the MaizeCare Polymers portfolio of corn-based ingredients.
Dow said the companies aim to “leverage their key expertise by meeting the growing consumer demand for bio-based and biodegradable technologies that provide unique and high-performance benefits”.
