Hair mechanical testing company Dia-Stron and cosmetic imaging testing instruments outfit Bossa Nova Vision have formed a global partnership to supply and develop measurement systems for the personal care market.
In a statement, the companies said they will combine commercial resources and technical expertise to better serve their customers developing hair & skin care products, cosmetic ingredients, and hair styling tools.
“Both companies share the same mission: customer excellence, delivering measurement innovations to support R&D communities in generating scientific insights and breakthroughs, and increasing testing automation for more productivity, driving data quality and analytics,” it added.
Dia-Stron managing director Yann Leray said the collaboration means “offering a more comprehensive product range to our new and existing customers, and improving reach to the global personal care testing market.”
Bossa Nova Vision CEO Sébastien Breugnot added: “Together with Dia-Stron, we can realise unique technical expertise synergies to bring ground-breaking products to market, combining imaging and mechanical measurements.”
Dia-Stron and Bossa Nova Vision instrumentation can be found around the world, in the laboratories of major cosmetic companies, such as L’Oréal, P&G, Unilever, and Henkel, of hair appliance producers (Philips, GHD, etc.) as well as ingredient manufacturers including Croda, BASF, Dow, Solvay, Symrise and others.
