French specialty chemicals distributor Safic-Alcan has promoted Yann Lissillour to the role of chief executive officer (CEO).
Lissillour (pictured), who joined Safic-Alcan in 2000, was appointed chief operating officer in November 2021.
Martial Lecat and Philippe Combette, who joined Safic-Alcan in June and October 1988 respectively, will cease their functions within the executive committee on 1 April.
At the same time, chairman Combette will hand over the presidency of the group to Yann Lissillour.
Lecat will continue to chair the group's supervisory board and Combette will also remain a member.
The company's executive committee will be composed of:
- Yann Lissillour, CEO and head of group M&A
- Jean-Michel Guyon, chief financial officer
- Philippe Cenreaud, managing director, Performance Products
- Jose Lora, managing director, Life Sciences
- Juliette Gamez, chief digital officer
“I am very proud to be taking over the leadership of Safic Alcan. With my colleagues on the Executive Committee, and the presence of Martial and Philippe on the supervisory board, we will continue the exceptional human and entrepreneurial adventure that is Safic-Alcan,” said Lissillour.
“I am convinced of the robustness of our model and the unfailing commitment of our teams. Together, we will continue to be a lasting link between all our partners,” he added.
