A new pigment range for glamorous effects has been launched by Eckart.
Pigments in the Mirage range distinguish themselves from natural mica-based products by their extraordinary sparkling and glamorous effects. These pigments offer very high levels of transparency and purity of interference colours.
The new products will initially be offered in two different particle size ranges. Mirage Sparkling Silver, offered in a particle size range of 15-120µm, provides an exceptional silver/white sparkle effect.
Mirage Glamorous Silver, available in a particle size range of 35-150 µm, displays an extraordinary silver glitter effect, whereas Mirage Glamorous Red, with a similar particle size range, combines the glitter effect with a deep red interference colour previously not exhibited in the market.
Mirage effect pigments are suitable for all kinds of colour cosmetic and personal care applications such as nail polishes, pressed and loose powders, lipsticks, eye shadows and eyeliners, lotions and emulsions, as well as gels and cleansers. In addition to sparkle and colour, a remarkable skin feel is imparted.
The Mirage product family will be expanded with additional colour shades later in 2008.
